At WayOps, we are looking for an Integration Analyst who wants to develop their professional career as part of an international team, working with middleware solutions and participating in integration projects within a production and supply chain environment (FMCG).
CONTEXT & RESPONSIBILITIES
The selected candidate will join a team responsible for integrations between multiple enterprise systems (ERP, MES, WMS, production and distribution systems). The role's objective is to ensure that integration solutions provide business value, are scalable and sustainable, and use standardized middleware as the first option before resorting to direct programming.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining system integrations using middleware and EAI/MFT tools.
- Collaborating with business and technology teams to ensure technical solutions are aligned with operational needs.
- Documenting and monitoring integration flows, ensuring traceability and compliance with corporate standards.
- Optimizing the efficiency of integration processes, prioritizing reliability over technical complexity.
- Participating in continuous improvement projects related to process automation and platform standardization.
PROJECT & TEAM
The project is part of the modernization and consolidation of the integration ecosystem for a global company in the food sector (FMCG). The Integration Analyst will be part of a mixed business and technology team focused on optimizing data flows between different production, logistics, and financial management systems.
The team will include ERP specialists (Infor M3, SAP), integration engineers, functional analysts, and solution architects. The work environment is international, with a collaborative and results-oriented approach, where communication and business understanding are as important as technical capability.
PROFILE & ATTITUDE
We are looking for a pragmatic and business-oriented profile, capable of balancing technical ability with understanding of operational processes. We value:
- "Business-first" mindset: prioritizing solutions that work and provide real value over technically sophisticated designs.
- Genuine interest in the food/production sector: understanding how integrations impact real plant operations, logistics, and distribution.
- Preference for mature and standardized tools: experience working with proven and stable technology, not in experimentation environments or latest technology trends.
- Ability to work with predefined technical constraints: the project uses an established technology stack that is not open to disruptive changes.
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
The ideal profile should have:
- 3-5 years of experience in enterprise systems integration working primarily with EAI/MFT solutions and middleware.
- Demonstrable experience working with middleware and integration platforms such as GoAnywhere MFT, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Infor M3 MEC/ION, Mulesoft, TIBCO, WebMethods, or Seeburger. Middleware usage must be the first option before resorting to custom development.
- Practical experience with standard integration technologies: API, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), ETL, and MFT/EAI solutions.
- Mandatory experience in production, manufacturing, FMCG (especially food & beverage) or supply chain environments, with practical knowledge of MES, ERP (Infor M3, SAP), WMS systems or distribution systems.
- Ability to understand business processes and translate them into sustainable technical solutions.
- Ability to work in environments with standardized and mature tools (not oriented toward technological experimentation).
- Programming knowledge (C#, .NET or Python) only as a last resort when middleware solutions are not viable. This role prioritizes configuration and orchestration over development.
- Fluent professional English (mandatory): ability to communicate effectively in international work environments, both orally and in writing.
Positively valued:
- Demonstrable experience in projects where middleware was the primary solution, not custom development.
- Experience in projects with Infor M3 ERP, SAP, or equivalent systems.
- Previous experience in integrations within the food, manufacturing, or logistics sector.
- Knowledge of the complete flow of an FMCG supply chain (from production to distribution).
HIRING & LOCATION
The hiring will be through a renewable annual contract as a freelancer on a full-time basis. Work will be performed remotely, preferably during the client's office hours to facilitate coordination with the rest of the team. The salary range will be negotiable based on the experience provided. Immediate incorporation.
